Trivia[edit]

  • The Polka Dress, Lazy Shell, and Super Suit are the only three types of armor that cannot be repurchased at any time in the game.
    • On the other hand, the Polka Dress is the only armor to be pre-equipped on any character when he or she joins the party, and the only character-specific armor that cannot be repurchased. The Work Pants is the only type of armor for any character in the party that can be repurchased.
  • Bowser's Courage Shell shares its name with an item from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
  • In the Japanese version of the game, Mario's armor are referred to as Overalls, both in the game and in the artwork. In the North American version, his armor are called Shirts instead.
  • The Fuzzy Dress resembles the color scheme of Princess Daisy's current design.
  • In the Japanese version, the 'Thick' series of armor are referred to as the 'Tight' series, and the 'Mega' series as the 'Perfect' series as if literally translated into English.
  • Despite equipping armor, the characters are still shown in their casual attires in the game.
  • In the Player's Guide for the North American version, Mallow's Mega Pants armor with its render shown is incorrectly referred to as 'Work Pants'.

The Kero Sewers is the sewer system of Mushroom Kingdom in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The Kero Sewers is located above Midas Waterfall and is guarded by the dreaded dog monster Belome. Moreover, a tunnel in Land's End leads to the Kero Sewers, which Mario and his party enter to find - among other things - a jar of Cricket Jam, a Star, and many strange monsters on the way.

The Kero Sewers also appears in Mario and the Incredible Rescue. Mario, Luigi and Toad use this shortcut so they get to Bowser's Keep faster. However, they end up in Cybele's forest and end up meeting Cybele who tells them to collect six Mushrooms. The first black Mushroom is in the Kero Sewers, which the gang then returns to. Piranha Plants roam the Kero Sewers here, although Piranha Plants did not appear here in the actual game.
